StandSure is a therapy tool for persons with neuromusculoskeletal impairments affecting their ability to maintain good foot contact and alignment with the ground. Inability to maintain good grounding can affect balance and coordination leading to difficulty with day to day activities such as sitting with the feet flat on the floor, rising from a chair, maintaining standing balance, achieving good walking pattern, and climbing stairs.
It can be used as part of a therapy programme to treat conditions such as cerebral palsy, stroke, head and spinal cord injury, MS and tip toe walking. It may also be used for musculoskeletal conditions which impair ankle, knee and hip motion, for example following surgery or trauma.
StandSure is only to be used as directed by a qualified healthcare professional for rehabilitation purposes. It can be used in relevant healthcare setting such as hospitals and rehab centres, special needs schools, and rehabilitation at home.

FROM A PHYSIO WORKING IN DOMICILIARY PRIVATE PRACTICE:
"The board is portable and easily fits in my car, simple to use, easy to clean. I have had excellent results with a young quadriplegic and noted improvements in transfers, sitting balance, and ability to maintain high kneeling and crawling. Interestingly, upper limb function has also improved; they needed a scribe in school for 100% of written tasks but is now managing around a third of it on their own. The patient also reports feeling more confident. "
FROM A PAEDIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPIST WORKING IN SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOLS:
"This has been such a welcome adjunct to therapy and hugely successful in schools, clinic and home environments. I have been using it for better foot placement in sitting and standing generally. I have a few children use it currently for practicing sit to stand and vice versa to aid balance, strength and coordination. It has also been very successful in encouraging better posture in standing whilst engaging the child in activities to improve function, core stability and overall well-being. It is very easy to use and to teach others eg parents, teachers and is so easy to carry and move around. I’m excited to see the carry over effects with regular use over the coming weeks."
FROM A PHYSIOTHERAPIST WORKING WITH THE RDA ( RIDING FOR THE DISABLED ASSOCIATION):
‘The Standsure board has been really useful in helping a young person regain symmetrical weight bearing and heel contact following hamstring and TA lengthening surgery’
